About Us

A cinematic banner scene at dawn on a remote highway in California. A rugged man in his 40s leans quietly against a silver semi-truck, wearing a black t-shirt that reads “Still Hurts” over the heart. He looks calmly toward the horizon.

About Frizogap – For the ones who kept going, even when no one was watching

Where it Started

It began one night in a parked truck on the edge of California. Forrest Mitchell Cohen, a long-haul trucker, looked at his reflection in the side mirror and realized something small but deeply frustrating. None of the shirts he owned felt like they were made for someone like him. They were loud when he felt quiet. Polished when he felt worn. Full of words that didn’t say anything that mattered.

That night, Forrest thought, “I don’t want another shirt that shouts. I want something that feels like me.” He printed three words on a black tee. Still Hurts. That was the first design. Not made to impress. Just made to be honest.

Why Frizogap Exists

Most clothing is built to attract attention. Frizogap was created for those who carry things quietly. The ones who keep moving without applause. The ones who don’t need to be seen but want to be recognized. This brand exists for them.

It was never about fashion or trends. It was about telling the truth softly and wearing something that understands what you’re not ready to say out loud.

The Beginning

Frizogap began in January 2025 inside a garage near the California coast. Just Forrest, a handful of blanks, and a single DTF printer. As more people found the message, the project became something bigger. The workshop moved to Redondo Beach, California, where every product is still made by hand, one order at a time.

What We Believe

Frizogap doesn’t design to keep up. It doesn’t release collections by season or chase relevance. Every shirt is created from a sentence that feels necessary. Quiet grief. Unspoken anger. Slow healing. Nothing gets printed unless it feels real.

This isn’t fashion. It’s presence.

How We Make It

Everything begins with the fabric. We source untreated cotton from Big Duck Canvas in Georgia — a supplier chosen for their consistency, integrity, and long-lasting quality. That fabric is cut and sewn in-house at our Redondo Beach workshop. No outsourcing. No shortcuts.

Printing only happens when someone places an order. Each shirt is made-to-order using DTF printing, which keeps the message soft, sharp, and permanent. We don’t keep inventory. We don’t mass-produce feeling.

How Customization Works

After selecting your shirt and size, there is a Customization Notes field at checkout. That’s where you can request edits — whether that means cropping the hem, shifting the text, or submitting your own words entirely. Custom lines are welcome up to fifteen words. There’s no extra charge for basic layout changes or personal messages. If anything needs clarification, just reply to your order confirmation. Most custom pieces take one or two days longer than standard orders.

This isn’t personalization as a gimmick. It’s the chance to say something that feels like yours.

What We Offer

Frizogap makes two things: heavyweight cotton t-shirts and fleece-lined sweatshirts. Both are unisex, minimal, and made to be worn often. The fit is relaxed. The prints are intentional. Some pieces belong to the Only Printed Once series — limited-run designs created in specific moments and never repeated. They’re like entries in a journal. If you feel it, it’s yours.

How It’s Run

Everything happens in one place. Cutting, sewing, printing, checking, and packing all take place at our Redondo Beach studio. A team of sixteen people makes it work. Three sewists, four printers, two designers, two in quality check, three in fulfillment, and two who respond to every email like it was written by someone they know.

Every order passes through real hands. Nothing leaves the studio if it doesn’t feel true.

Who Frizogap Is For

This brand isn’t for people who want to stand out. It’s for people who’ve spent years continuing, quietly. Truckers. Shift workers. Introverts. Anyone who’s ever come back from something quietly and without applause.

Our customers don’t need attention. But sometimes, they need to say something. We give them a line to wear over the heart. If someone notices, good. If not, it still meant something.

You don’t have to explain. The shirt already said it for you.

Shirt designs are minimalistic and expressive — short emotional text like “Still Hurts,” “I kept going,” or subtle graphics like lone trucks on a road. Lighting is soft yellow from overhead track lights. A wooden sign on the wall reads:
